The Y offers a wide range of swimming options for the whole family, including learn to swim classes starting with infants right through to adults, aquafit, exercise classes, swim team and of course open swim & lap swim times. The Y swim program is a positive, fun activity that builds athletic, social and interpersonal skills. Swimming builds self-confidence and develops the whole person – spirit, mind and body.
Swim Lessons for Youth and Adults
The purpose of the YMCA Youth and adult Aquatic Program is to help participants lay a good foundation of basic aquatic skill, with the hope this leads them to develop a lifelong appreciation for aquatic activities.
Red Cross Classes
The Y offers American Red Cross lifeguard certification courses as well as courses in CPR/AED and First Aid. This is beneficial to those looking to give back to their communities by gaining the ability to be a first responder in an emergency situation. For those interested in sharing their love and knowledge of the water The Y offers American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor courses.
The Y offers private and semi-private lessons to further accommodate those looking to enhance their aquatic abilities; ranging from the most basic learn-to-swim skills to more advanced technical work. For more information please contact our private lesson coordinator at 508-362-6500 ext. 300.
Aquatic Vacation Camp-April
