Stacie Peugh, President & CEO

Leadership Team, 23 Years of Service

After an eight year leadership role in the Capital District YMCA as the District Executive Director for the Southern Saratoga YMCA, I relocated to the Cape and accepted the position of President & CEO at the YMCA Cape Cod. My primary focus is on facility, financial and board development along with financial management, community development and overall operations in the delivery of the YMCAs mission in the community. I have vacationed on the Cape since early childhood and always had a dream to work for the Y in this community. I currently reside in Hyannis with my dog “Brindie” and cat “Smudge.”

Leadership Team, 5 Years of Service

My experience with the Y started more than 4 years ago, when I accepted the position of Human Resources Director at the YMCA Cape Cod. The journey has brought me through a variety of experiences where I am able to help fellow employees through difficult situations in their work and personal lives. I feel blessed to work with such a diverse staff. In 2010 I received the Unsung Hero Award from AYP and in 2011 I received the Employee of the Year Award from the YMCA Cape Cod. In my time away from the Y I enjoy spending time with my husband and extended family.

Leadership Team, 13 Years of Service

My Y experience began at Camp Lyndon 12 years ago. I had the pleasure of sharing one of the Cape’s best kept secrets with thousands of Cape families at Camp Lyndon. With an amazing staff team and creative property development Lyndon became a vehicle for our Y to strengthen the foundation of community outside of our walls. Community service and social services have always been a passion for me. The Y has allowed me to focus my efforts in these areas for the benefit of Cape families including my own. I have grown professionally thanks to the Y and I now give direction to our philanthropic work. I have the best job in the world. I raise dollars to help the YMCA Cape Cod move us all forward. I take great pride in the fact that no one is turned away from Y programs and services due to an inability to pay.

Scott McNair, Operations Director

Leadership Team, 2 Years of Service

The mission and core values of the YMCA are not simply good suggestions to me but, a way of life for me. I love the programs and services we offer at the facilities. They truly improve the spirit, mind and body of the members. It is very humbling to be part of an organization that doesn’t turn anyone away due to their inability to pay and I feel honored to be part of a team that supports this type of benevolent work. Being a productive and helpful part of my community is very important to me and the fact the Y’s cause is “Strengthening the foundations of community”, I feel as if I am fulfilling my passion and purpose by working for the YMCA.

Megan Benvenuto, Communications & Marketing Director

Leadership Team, 7 Years of Service

First hired as a summer lifeguard at Camp Lyndon while attending college, working at camp opened my eyes to the great work the Y is doing in our community every day. I was truly inspired by my camp experience and completed my BAA from Central Michigan University in Recreation Parks and Leisure Services Management. When not working at the Y, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, hiking, cycling, and deep sea fishing. I love working with the talented staff at the Y, each person is working together as part of a team shaping our community for the better.

Marian Gibson, Executive Assistant to the President & CEO

Leadership Team, 5 Years of Service

My personal experience with the YMCA began when we lived in Groveland, MA and attended the Y in Haverhill where both of my children participated in the swim program for many years. We all loved the family-friendly atmosphere there and I am happy to say that the YMCA Cape Cod provides that same welcoming feeling. As a result, it is a pleasure to be a part of this organization and see people of all ages enjoying our facility. I spend my spare time with family – particularly my three grandchildren. I enjoy beaching, boating, walking the Cape Cod Rail Trail, quilting, reading, crossword puzzles, and entertaining.

Thom Busby, Program Director – Youth Development

Operations Team, 9 Years of Service

My YMCA Cape Cod experience started almost sixteen years ago when the Goat Bus dropped me off at YMCA Camp Lyndon. After spending the best summers of my life being a camper, CIT, counselor, and Unit Director, I sought work that would be as fulfilling, fun, and impactful. Never did I think I would find myself coming back to the Y for a career, but I couldn’t imagine doing anything else now. I am proud to serve alongside people that changed the course of my life, and work tirelessly to create the same environment they provided for me. When not doing Y work, I love golfing, playing music, and spending time with my dog.

Roxanne Craft, Membership Director

Operations Team, 7 Years of Service

My favorite Y activities include Ycycling and cardio kickboxing. We also host special events throughout the year that bring the community together. The special events not only allow the community to see the amazing work we do at the Y, but it allows families and individuals to meet other people who have similar interests in living a healthy life. I love working at the Y because I can help my community every day. I enjoy building relationships with our members, participants and our dedicated staff. The work we do is so important and allows our youth, adults and families to have a place where they can improve their health and feel connected.

Steven Wolfe, Sr. Program Director – Youth Development

Operations Team, 11 Years of Service

When I graduated from Eckerd College I knew that my work must embody profound meaning. I wanted my efforts to enable a process of becoming the best human I could be. I wasn’t sure where I could find a job doing good things for people with compassion, but I had conviction that choosing a job that served the greater good of the community would allow me to find what I needed to successfully build my own strong family. The YMCA gave me a place to practice this job of serving and caring for others and I am grateful to be a part of this amazing community. I believe we all have great power and influence to make any positive change we can imagine. It is with the help and reflections of each other that allow us to overcome the obstacles we are all facing.

Scott Woodaman, Sr. Program Director – Health & Wellness

Operations Team,  6 months of Service

I have been working with the YMCA organization since 2008.  I went to Springfield College, the YMCA training school, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in physical education and a Master of Education.  After graduation I joined the YMCA Cape Cod as the Health and Wellness Director.  What I love most about the YMCA is the core values and philosophy of the organization.  Working for the YMCA has taught me volumes about being a well-rounded person.  I continue to spread these core values and philosophies to the community every day.  I hope to see you at the Y!                                    Email Scott
