Supporting Events that Support Community

Y events connect people to their purpose, their potential and each other. We host several signature events each year which provide a great opportunity for sponsors to connect with business and community leaders and provide critical support for the Y’s mission. Community events provide opportunities for sponsors to support and interact with local families. For more information on sponsorship levels and benefits, contact our Vice President of Development, Shawna Moos.

Signature Events 2024

Annual Meeting and Breakfast – March 21, 2024

Event includes a celebration of last year’s achievements, recognition of three major community partners, and awards for the volunteers, donors, and staff that make major impact on our community. On average more than a hundred people attend and sponsors include all the Y’s major business supporters.

Healthy Kids Day – April

Each year, around 300 children and families join us for a day of outdoor healthy living education activities that promote good nutrition, physical fitness, mental health, and social connections.

Y Achievers Benefit – May

Dinner and celebration of teens graduating from the Y Achievers program, a college and career readiness program that we provide at no cost to high school students who come from historically marginalized communities or who are the first in their families to pursue college.

Golf Tournament – September 30, Willowbend Golf Course

Most sponsorships come with a foursome of golf. In addition to a beautiful golf course, you will enjoy great live and silent auctions and networking with nearly 200 local leaders who support the YMCA. Last year, this event raised more than $125,000 for the Y mission.

Community Events

The Y also participates in several cross-Cape community fundraising events. For more information contact our Vice President of Development, Shawna Moos.

Jaxtimer Charter Cup – July 10

Falmouth Road Race – August 18

Second Summer Cycle – September 15
