Open Positions:

  • Early Education Center Directors
    • Manages, directs and coordinates the infant, toddler, and preschool and school age programs for assigned location. Ensures high quality programs and establishes new program activities. Expands program within the community in accordance with strategic and operating plans. Develops, organizes and implements high quality YMCA child care programs.
      • Harwich, West Barnstable, Hyannis
  • Early Education Teacher/Lead Teacher
    • Under the direct supervision of the Director, the Teacher is responsible for the day-to-day management of the classroom in accordance with the purpose, policies, and mission.
    • Toddler Classrooms:  ages 15 months-2.9 years
    • Preschool Classrooms: ages 3 years-5 years
      • Falmouth, Cotuit, W. Barnstable, Hyannis, Harwich, Brewster
  • Lead Infant Toddler Early Education Teachers
    • Under the direct supervision of the Child Care Director, the Lead Teacher is responsible for the day-to-day management of the classroom in accordance with the purpose, policies, and mission.
    • Infant Classrooms: ages 3 months- 15 months
      • Falmouth, Cotuit, W. Barnstable, Hyannis, Harwich, Brewster
  • Assistant Classroom Teachers
    • Under the direct supervision of a teacher qualified staff person, the Assistant Teacher helps coordinate the day-to-day management of the classroom in accordance with the purpose, policies, and mission.
      • Falmouth, Cotuit, W. Barnstable, Hyannis, Harwich, Brewster
  • Family Service Workers
    • The Family Service Worker, in collaboration with teachers, will provide services to families in the Head Start Center Based program. In partnership with parents, the Family Worker develops mutually trusting relationships, acts as an advocate for families, and provides support services as needed. The Family Service Worker will assist families in determining their needs and in identifying and developing goals to meet those needs.
      • Harwich, Dennis
  • School Age Site Coordinators (Full & Part time)
    • Responsible for the overall development, administration, supervision, and execution of the School Age Child Care Program for licensing capacity of 11 through 52 children.  Provides required 20% non-teaching administrative time.
      • Harwich, Falmouth

Housing Assistance Vouchers:

Through the Housing Assistance Corporation, and a grant from the Bilezikian Foundation, the YMCA Cape Cod is excited to share the THRIVE program with our employees!

THRIVE is a new program designed and created by Housing Assistance Corporation to address housing affordability and increase empowerment for households on Cape Cod. A shallow monthly rental subsidy is paired with required ongoing work with staff through our HUD Certified Housing Counseling Program with the goal of setting goals and working on financial empowerment.
