Stacie Peugh, President & CEO
Stacie Peugh is the President and CEO of the YMCA Cape Cod. She believes we can make our communities stronger by investing in people of all ages to support them in pursuing a life of continuous learning & development. Stacie has a proven track record of transforming YMCAs to meet the needs of all people in the communities they serve. She is proud of her leadership strengths in fiscal and human capital approaches allowing the Y to attract and retain a thriving workforce & volunteer supporters to best serve the community.
Stacie has been awarded the Eastern Bank Community Advocacy Award for her outstanding commitment to the community as well as the Paul Lorusso Leadership Award. Stacie holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education & Biology from The College of Saint Rose.

PJ Richardson, Chief Financial Development Officer
PJ Richardson is the Chief Financial Development Officer who believes that it is our responsibility to nurture the potential of every child and teen. By instilling our core values in children, we change our future in subtle life-altering ways. It is through our efforts to provide enriching experiences along with support and guidance that all children thrive. PJ has enjoyed an ambitious career focused on securing the resources needed to ensure the YMCA Cape Cod is able to keep our promise to the community. PJ embraces the Y’s promise that no child will be turned away from our supportive programs and enriching opportunities due to an inability to pay. PJ considers himself to be part of a team of professionals who pride themselves on being the change they want to see in the world.
PJ holds a bachelor’s degree in Government with a minor in Sociology from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
Peter Farrar, Chief Human Resource Officer
Peter Farrar is the Chief Human Resource Officer for YMCA Cape Cod. Peter joins our team with over 30 years of experience helping organizations address their most pressing talent and HR needs. In his CHRO role, Peter will work with our team to design and implement HR programs and practices that promote a safe, healthy, and productive environment for our YMCA workforce, volunteers, and community members.
Peter received his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and his MBA with an HR and Organizational Effectiveness concentration from Boston College.
Michelle Sullivan, Chief Compliance Officer
Michelle Sullivan is the Chief Compliance Officer for YMCA Cape Cod. She joins our team with over 20 years of nonprofit experience. Michelle brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our organization. Prior to joining the YMCA, Michelle served as the Executive Director for the Roudenbush Community Center where she made significant contributions to the growth and success of the organization. Her strategic leadership and dedication to community engagement were instrumental in fostering a culture of inclusivity and empowerment. Michelle’s passion for community service, coupled with her exceptional leadership abilities, make her an invaluable asset to our YMCA team.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Leadership and Administration from UMass Amherst.
Shawna Moos, Vice President of Development
Shawna is a nonprofit fundraiser and strategic communication professional with twenty years’ experience including donor advancement and stewardship, grant writing, events, business partnerships, and strategic initiatives. She’s worked with local organizations such as Housing Assistance Corporation (HAC), International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), Plimoth Patuxet Museums, Amplify People of Color, and WE CAN. She is especially excited about supporting the YMCA’s commitment to inclusivity and the belief that lasting personal and social change comes about when we all work together.
In her new role Shawna will be providing leadership to our Annual Support Campaign, Grant identification and acquisition, and Development focused Special Events, while supporting all the efforts of our Development Department.
Larry Chaponis, Vice President of Property & Facilities Development
Larry is experienced in all aspects of property development and management. He believes that a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment is essential in empowering everyone to meet their potential, and believes that the YMCA is a valuable, nurturing partner in the community. He has a solid commitment to ensuring that the YMCA’s facilities are safe, maintained and operate as efficiently as possible, by pursuing the latest in ‘green’ technology.
Larry has held a Title V Inspectors Certificate, a Home Inspectors Certificate, Construction Supervisor’s License, is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, shell fishing, carving, boat, and auto restoration, and coaching and mentoring people of all ages.
Denise Graham-Reardon, Executive Director, Children & Family Services
Denise relocated to the Cape 15 years ago and took a position with the YMCA Cape Cod in 2011. In 2021 she was promoted to Executive Director of Children and Family Service. Denise has worked with children for 3 months through 13 years of age for over 35 years. Prior to working with the YMCA Cape Cod, Denise worked for KinderCare Learning Centers for over 15 years. While there she opened multiple centers in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and because of her high-quality programming, she was able to achieve accreditation, for five centers, from NAEYC, the highest level of accreditation in early childhood education. By always focusing on quality programming and committing to the belief that all children deserve quality education and care, Denise is working hard to ensure every child has access to the best education. Denise has a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Early Education.
Denise lives in Yarmouth with her spouse Pat; and enjoys long walks on the beach, gardening and watching Patriots football.
Jeff Conlon, Director of Operations – Lyndon P Lorusso YMCA
Jeff brings a wealth of experience in athletic administration to our team, having served as the Director of Athletics at Cape Cod Academy, an independent day school in Osterville, since 2014. In this role, he demonstrated exceptional leadership by overseeing all aspects of athletic operations and facilities. His responsibilities extended beyond athletics to include contributions to admissions, development, and student life. His multifaceted expertise, coupled with a passion for fostering growth and excellence in athletic programs, makes Jeff a valuable addition to our team.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine with a minor in Psychology and a concentration in Strength and Conditioning from Springfield College, as well as aa Master of Business Administration from the University of Hartford.
Andrew Coleman, Marketing & Communications Director
Andrew brings a strong background of education, recreation, and team building to The Y. Prior to joining the Y, he spent five years as a middle school teacher in central Massachusetts. Outside of the classroom Andrew brings fifteen years’ experience in summer camp administration, ropes course management, and teen leadership programming development.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle School Education and American History from Lesley University.

Rose Ann Francis, Senior Administrative & Volunteer Coordinator
Rose Ann Francis is the Senior Administrative & Volunteer Coordinator for the YMCA Cape Cod. She maintains accurate meeting notes and administrative directives in working with the Board of Directors, Committees, Staff, and Community partners of the YMCA. Rose Ann also maintains the CEO’s daily schedule of meetings. She oversees the Volunteer program and records for over 400 volunteers of the YMCA. Rose Ann believes the YMCA provides a vital service to community members at every stage in their lives. She is grateful for the opportunity be a part of an organization that helps make confident kids and supports contributing engaging adults.
Rose Ann previously has been employed in the private club industry and worked on two national golf sporting events (the US Open and the Ryder Cup Matches). While employed at The Country Club in Brookline MA she was awarded the Employee of the Year. She is the 2021 Employee of the Year. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management from Appalachian State University, Boone North Carolina.
