The YMCA Cape Cod was founded to address health and well-being of the community. We are more than just a gym; we are a community nonprofit organization that strives to improve the lives of families on the Cape. Curious to learn more? Join us for a virtual tour of the facility…
Wellness Center
Our wellness center is designed to support exercisers of all abilities and background. Located on the 2nd floor of the facility, this is where you can find our cardio machines, circuit machines, free weights and stretching area. We carefully select all of our equipment and update our machines frequently to ensure we keep our wellness center at the forefront of fitness technology. New to fitness? No problem! We always have coaches to help answer questions and conduct fitness orientations.
Aquatics Center
Aquatic programs are one of the cornerstones of the YMCA and we’re proud to offer the best aquatics center on the Cape. Members have access to two pools at our location; our large lap pool and our smaller warm water pool. In addition to lap times and open swim sessions, members also have access to a wide range of aquatics programs including swimming lessons and aqua-cize classes. No matter your age or ability, the aquatics center at the YMCA Cape Cod has a diverse range of programs for you and your family.
Group Exercise & Spinning Studio
Included with all of our memberships, we are proud to offer over 80 group exercise classes on a weekly basis, including Yoga, Aqua-cize, Spinning and more. Our group exercise classes are designed to be drop-in classes meaning exercisers of all abilities can join our classes at any point in the season. If you’re looking for a fun, social way of getting fit there’s no better way than to jump into a class. Click here for a full listing of our group exercise classes.
Childwatch
Included with our family memberships, childwatch is a free babysitting service for children ages 3 months to 9 years old. Members can exercise freely knowing their children are cared for by YMCA staff.
Diabetes Resource Center
The Diabetes Resource Center was founded to ensure that all people with diabetes or pre-diabetes and their caregivers on Cape Cod have a place to assist them and truly focus on all aspects of their disease in a professional and supportive environment. It offers the latest information on research for coping with the physical symptoms and mental stress of diabetes. As a part of the resource center we are also proud to offer nutrition counseling services for members looking for guidance on meal plans and fitness assessments.
