Staff Profile: Taylaur Pasquale

Taylaur Pasquale joined the YMCA Cape Cod in September 2017 and leads our food services program. Taylaur holds a Bachelors in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Masters in Public Health in Nutrition and previously worked as the community nutritionist for Barnstable County.  Taylaur not only creates menus and orders food but has been instrumental in growing the food services program. After identifying pockets of low-income families throughout Cape Cod, Taylaur partners with other local organizations such as the Hyannis Youth Center to deliver healthy meals and snacks to children under the age of 18.

The food service program started in 2010 with the after-school program at the West Barnstable campus. In the 2017-2018 school year, YMCA Cape Cod served meals or after school snacks at 9 sites across Cape Cod and is serving meals and snacks at 17 sites throughout the summer.
